Bargaining Bulletin #5

12/10/19

On Monday December 09, 2019, CWA met with EF representatives and had another productive
meeting where various proposals were passed from both sides. The effort of providing the proposals
prior to meeting has proven effective for the process. We all have committed to the desire of making
the bargaining process, quick and effective. Steps like this allow both sides to come to the table
prepared with responses to submitted and counter-proposals, to maximize the use of the meeting.

This meeting has given CWA and EF the opportunity to have an additional 25 tentative agreements to
be added to our previous set from the last bargaining session. These tentative agreements are
addressing sections of the overall contract. Some of the newest tentative agreements are related to the
grievance process, Labor Management Committees, and non-bargaining work; among other topics
that were addressed. Also, CWA has proposed a substantial wage increase for the bargaining unit.

EF and CWA have agreed to the next dates for bargaining are set for January 28th and 29th of the
new year. With being able to meet on consecutive days, we hope to get as close as possible to a full
agreement.

Happy Holidays to all our members at EF.

Stay Strong Stay Unified.
